The company has been at the forefront of educating the local market to drive increased adoption of Juniper offerings and has published several books, e-learning modules and articles on their routers, switches and firewalls in Polish language. “It was ten years ago that we started organizing ‘Juniper Day’, a conference dedicated to the promotion of Juniper solutions, and today it is a part of the IT events calendar,” shares Rys. Acting as Juniper’s authorized education center, Clico offers all trainings in an enterprise track and main SP courses. The company provides their end users and partners with dedicated web based tools, technical assistance center, partner portal and specialized ticketing system for pre-sales services. Clico’s focus is not only on the functionality, but also on accurate management of Juniper solutions. “For example proper application of Junos Space platform plays an important role here,” adds Rys. Together with Juniper solutions, Clico also offers the products of Juniper’s technology partners such as Gemalto, PulseSecure and Forcepoint.
As an authorized Juniper partner providing pre- and post-sales support, Clico operating in Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary and in Adriatic countries offers technical support in the local language of that particular country. Working towards offering superior technical support services to all their clients, Clico employs technical experts and Juniper certified engineers to assist clients with any problems in the evolving networking market.

“Even if some of our partners do not have in-house competencies for specific Juniper solutions they can successfully offer them to their customers with the support of Clico specialists,” adds Rys.
Clico’s engineers also have deep knowledge of the techniques used by today’s cybercriminals which helps them to design effective security systems and implement more secure network architectures. As a VAD, a unique Clico service is its IT security audits offered since 1998. “This year we also started offering SCADA security audits that are extremely appreciated by our customers,” says Rys.
Further illustrating Clico’s proficiencies, Rys highlights a prestigious project involving a government institution related with national security. The customer bought EX series access and data center switches with Aruba ClearPass Network Access Control system. Clico was able to assist the client with their deep technical knowledge and professionalism of their technical consultants—optimizing the network structure, including increasing the reliability and simplification of management through Juniper Virtual Chassis. The Juniper solution was implemented on the stack of EX4300 switches additionally with high availability functions like GRES, Nonstop Routing and Nonstop Bridging.
Clico’s future goal is to strengthen the position and to increase the awareness of Juniper brand in all the countries they operate in.
